My name is Chad Perrin. I am an itinerant pedant and Individualist. I have been called a scholar and a gentleman, but I don't let that sort of slander get me down.
I'm the sole proprietor and main solution developer of Apotheonic Labs, the primary IT Security columnist at TechRepublic as well as a contributor to the Open Source and Programming Columns, and an opinionated, irreverent essayist at SOB and blogstrapping, though I've been neglecting SOB a lot.
I first discovered WikiVS by way of the MySQL vs PostgreSQL page, but my first edit was to the security section of the Windows Vista vs Windows XP page. I created the Screen vs tmux page (as well as the Wikipedia tmux page) from scratch, and have contributed a lot of fixes, formatting, and content to other WikiVS pages as well. Somewhere along the way, someone appears to have added me to the Administrator group here; I don't remember for sure whether I was aware of it at the time. Weird.
