One editor of this page writes : (((Search Capabilities: This is completely incorrect. All modern Linux distros use locatedb)))
Are you saying that the graphical search option that Ubuntu includes by default, is a front end for locatedb?
- OMG! This is such a BS written by someone with exactly 0% knowledge of any non-windows OS.
- OMG! Apparently, YOU have exactly 0% knowledge of any non-windows OS, mr Bullshit. Oh, my, just look http://linux.die.net/man/1/gnome-search-tool, locate in dependencies, oh WOW.
The page is also incorrect in it's assumption of ClamAV for Ubuntu. ClamAV was designed to run on a Linux-based mailserver and run as a server-side e-mail scanner. While it is theoretically possible for *nix-based systems to catch a virus, that is not the point of anti-virus software that runs on Linux.
