afaict gtk uses less mem and runs a little faster. but there is no way to make a real comparison.(it is based on applications written in qt and gtk for the same purpose(!)). it is just a matter of choice

Should this article be renamed GTK vs Qt, based on alphabetical order to make it not seem like it favors Qt unfairly? This may even, be a question for all articles on this site... --Derick Eisenhardt 2008-12-22@14:53CST

Maybe. That seems like an awful lot of work, though -- especially since any existing pages whose titles would be altered should have the old title set up as a redirect so that links to those pages don't break. - apotheon 22:43, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Well, honestly any article on here should have it both ways, with one being a redirect to the other. Luckily this site is both a wiki and very new (or so it appears). There really aren't too many articles yet, so if it gets done soon it will save alot of potential work down the road.
