Talk:Chrome vs Firefox
This page badly needs to be updated. Chrome 4 & 5 support extensions, are 2 to 3 times faster than Firefox when running JavaScript and rendering web pages, and now possess about 4.5% to 5% of the total market share.
- If you keep up with performance comparison news, please feel free to add information about the latest (preferably with supporting links) to the WikiVS page. This is a wiki, after all; your help editing the page to show the latest information is appreciated. As for the extensions situation, Chrome extension support is currently described in the page to some extent (pun intended). - apotheon 21:50, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
This page should be updated to use Firefox 4. It also should be rewritten to include less negatives toward Firefox. The majority of the sections start with a "Chrome ____________" sentence and generally has more in-depth discussion of Chrome features; this leads to improper representation when you later have to discuss Firefox.
- If a "negative" statement about Firefox is accurate, it should not be deleted or otherwise removed, eliminated, et cetera. Do not remove accurate information, regardless of your biases. - apotheon 21:30, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
- In addition, there are some incredibly negative characteristics of Chrome mentioned, such as the perverse effects of the security-limited extension system; it's not like this WikiVS page is just maliciously picking on Firefox. - apotheon 21:47, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
Why is the Chrome logo so much more massive compared to the Firefox logo? Without even reading the article, it just makes it look biased.
Why the heck is Chrome logo bigger? lol
- I suspect it's bigger because it's the image someone found. If you want to change the relative sizes of logos, change them. - apotheon 23:49, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
I reverted some recent changes which ultimately did nothing but remove some information without a good explanation for why it was removed and insert a bunch of typos and other errors. - apotheon 23:50, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
