Eclipse IAM vs m2eclipse

Some people say m2eclipse is more stable. But Eclipse IAM is a part of the Eclipse project. That's all I know about it. I tried to use IAM and failed. I'm depressed. Write something here please.
I use m2eclipse and I'm very satisfied. I think they picked up the speed in 2010.
