VERIZON: Verizon's ads focus on 3G maps. Verizon's map has over 90% of the USA covered in their color, red. At&t, on the other hand, covers not even 10% in their color, blue. The average viewer misinterprets this to mean that At&t has no service in the white areas. Verizon also has ads about the Droid phone, but they are less popular.

AT&T: At&t's ads have a guy talking about their many features which he claims Verizon does not have. He also makes a big deal about At&t's minutes.

[edit] Customer service

AT&T: When you first walk into an At&t store, odds are that you will bump into someone, since the whole store is packed with people. The shelves may look full, but they only have an overabundance of everything you do not want. For all of the people in the store, there are about 3-4 teenaged employees working, with one working check-out. When you ask for help, the worker will run away. IF you catch him, he'll turn into the rudest, most absent-minded hillbilly imaginable. After helping you for one minute, 5 employees materilize and he calls one over for backup. The 4 new workers disappear, and the one you had runs to the back room. His clone he called over who smells like rancid meat does the EXACT same thing he did, and the procces continues until either you leave, or you finally get what you wanted.
